What are UX and UI?

User Experience (UX) is the broad term describing the totality of a user's interaction with a product, be it a website, app, or a non-digital product. UX provides the foundation and framework on which these products are built.

User Interface (UI) is strictly digital, and describes the graphical design of a website or application. Everything that makes up the visuals of a design – typography, color, buttons, and so forth – is encompassed in UI.
